Elica SpA formed a joint venture Elica PB Whirlpool Kitchen Appliances Private Limited in India in 2010. The manufacturing unit in India in located in Pune, Maharashtra. This state-of-the-art manufacturing plant is well-equipped with machinery, automated assembly lines and equipment imported from Italy. Each process of manufacturing receives technical assistance from Italy. With a manufacturing capacity to produce more than 15 models and over 50 versions of kitchen hoods, Over 15 models of Built-In-Hobs and Cook top. The Company is all set to revolutionise the kitchen hood industry in India.

The range consists of an array of kitchen hoods such as Designer & Classic, Built-in Hobs in Glass, Linen Décor SS & Satin finish SS, Built-in Ovens, Cooking Ranges, Built-in microwaves, Kitchen sinks & faucets.

India is one of the most important markets in Asia and Elica’s presence in the country in partnership with a company that has long-term experience in the sector makes it possible for the Company to increase its own business in this area, supplying OEM customers with locally-based production that responds to the tastes and standards of the Indian market enriched by Italian expertise and style.
